A parking sensor is a device that assists parking and reversing a car. It works on the principle of sonar – it emits ultrasonic waves, which, after reflection from an obstacle, allow you to determine the distance between the car and the obstacle. Connect the previously installed display to the control unit. Do not connect the sensors yet. Engage reverse with due caution (if this requires switching on the ignition or starting the engine to turn on the power to the machine). If the device is properly connected, it will emit a short beep and the display will turn on. Connect one of the sensors to the control unit and set the obstacle at a distance of 1m from the sensor. The display will display the distance and transmit the correct signal. In this way, the rest of the sensors should be checked. Once the test is complete, connect all sensors to the control unit.
