To the left and right of the air intake hole of the DownAir hood there are two cooking fields; thanks to the VarioHeating system, they can be practically combined two at a time into a large, flexible zone, for example for saucepans or large pots and pans. Each heating field has a 9-step power adjustment and a ThermoBoost function that increases power for lightning-fast cooking. The pot detection function, Stop & Go ThermalRecall, residual heat detection, child protection and the warm keeping function perfectly complement the range of applications of the cooktop. At the centre of the new kitchen, in the Klarstein Full House Down Air system, almost invisible under the black stainless steel grille, lies the main element of the set: the Down Air in open mode. Unlike conventional hoods, it never blocks the field of view because it is part of the stovetop and sucks down fumes and odors. Thus, it will be perfect for typical American kitchens with a central kitchen island, where you can cook together with family and friends. With the AeroEfficiency system with a capacity of 270 m³ / h, it is particularly effective and economical, deserving the energy efficiency class A +. As with the well-known DownDraft lifts, the motor and exhaust hose are hidden under the worktop. As befits a complete system, both the extractor and the hob are operated via the SenseControl touch panel. The touch to slide method allows you to easily adjust the power of the heating field and the force of air suction by touching your finger. According to the PureAmbience principle, all controls are integrated directly into the black glass surface, so that no buttons interrupt its flawless appearance.
