The PNI Escort HP 6500 is enhanced with a Digital Automatic Squelch (Digital Automatic Squelch) digital noise and interference reduction system. The manual and automatic double squelch mode offers 28- and 9-level adjustments along with the RF Gain function for a smoother reception tuning.

The PNI 145/PL magnetic base in the package is provided with a 4 m cable, enough to place the antenna on the dome, has a diameter of 145 mm and a powerful magnet that gives the antenna stability even at high speeds.
