The PNI A022C smoke sensor can operate independently, warning locally in case of a smoke detection, or together with a wireless alarm system. Used together with an alarm system, the sensor will transmit alarm signals to the central unit up to a maximum of 200m in free field. Inside a building the transmission distance is maximum 50m.
Detection radius
The detection radius of the PNI A022C smoke sensor is influenced by the height at which it is mounted, so, mounted at a height between 6-12m you will get a coverage area of up to 80sqm, and if you mount it at a height of less than 6m the detection surface will be around 60sqm.
Acoustic and visual warning
Pni smoke sensor A022C warns you, in case of alarm, both acoustically and visually, being equipped with an internal buzzer that produces a sound of up to 85dB and a red LED that lights up in case of alarm.
9V battery power supply
The sensor is powered by a normal 9V battery that can give it an operating time of up to 1 year. When the battery is low, the detector will emit a short sound every 40 seconds along with a flash of the alarm LEd.
