AD5032 is a multifunctional steam iron with numerous advantages. The iron has 5 functions: it steam presses horizontally generating 45 grams of steam per minute, it steam presses horizontally with a steam burst function of up to 80 grams per minute to smooth out particularly stubborn creases, it dry presses (without steam), it vertically presses (e.g. curtains, clothes hanging on hangers: blazers, jackets), it functions as a spray with a one-time water output of 0.5 grams. The iron is equipped with 4 systems: automatic shut-off in case the device is left unattended, a drip-blocking system when the ironing plate temperature has not yet reached the optimal temperature, the device stops the dripping of water drops instead of steam, an anti-calc system that limits mineral deposits from water in the device, a self-cleaning system. Additional advantages include a large tank allowing for less frequent water refills during ironing. The pointed tip of the soleplate facilitates access to hard-to-reach areas, e.g. around buttons, pleating, etc. The ceramic soleplate increases slip — smooth gliding on fabric. The power cord is 1.50m long. The automatic shut-off function cuts off the power to the iron after being left stationary in the vertical position for 8 minutes and in the horizontal position for 30 seconds. The device signals the activation of the automatic shut-off function with 6 repeated sound signals.
