AdBlue® consists of 32.5 percent urea, a synthetic nitrogen compound, and demineralized water. The urea solution according to ISO 22241 reduces emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from diesel engines by up to 90 percent.
Who needs AdBlue®?
New-generation diesel vehicles (trucks and cars) with an SCR catalytic converter (Selective Catalytic Reduction) to comply with the emission values of Euro 4, 5 and 6 standards.
