The principle of operation is very simple! It is enough to partially fill the container with a flammable liquid (e.g. kerosene or gasoline), immerse a metal match in the container, and then vigorously rub the steel tip of the match against the core to cause sparks and cause ignition.
NOTE: Before re-inserting the match / core into the container, it must be absolutely extinguished and cooled!
