A parking sensor is a device that assists the parking and reversing of a car. It works on the principle of sonar – it emits ultrasonic waves, which after bouncing off an obstacle allow you to determine the distance between the car and the obstacle. When reversing, the device correctly recognizes obstacles in the vehicle's path and warns the driver.

When the reversing lights are on, power is supplied to the machine. Turning on the power is indicated by a short beep, then the device goes into the AUTO-CHECK state (automatic control mode of the device's systems).
The parking sensor is equipped with a display and an audible signal. Displays the distance to the obstacle and indicates on which side of the vehicle the obstacle is placed.
The device works properly if the reversing car is moving at a speed below 5 km/h.
Sensors can be mounted in the rear and front bumpers
Ultrasonic sensors should not be dirty. Mud, dust, etc. may cause it to malfunction.

For proper installation of the device, it is necessary to:

Mark the mounting locations of the sensors.
Install the sensors in the holes made with the attached drill. Place the ultrasonic sensors so that they fit snugly to the bumper surface and align with the road surface. Ultrasonic sensors shall be positioned in such a way that no other parts of the vehicle are in their field of vision.
Connect the power cords. Connect the previously installed display to the control unit. Do not connect sensors yet.
Engage reverse gear with due care (if this requires switching on the ignition or starting the engine to turn on the power of the device). If the device is connected correctly, it will beep briefly and the display will turn on.
Connect one of the sensors to the control unit and set the obstacle at a distance of 1m from the sensor. The display will display the distance and transmit the correct signal. In this way, the rest of the sensors should be checked. After the test, connect all sensors to the control unit.
