The drive enclosure is made of robust ABS+PC material that is highly durable, and the hard drive is protected by material inside the pocket to soothe any shock. Mounting the drive is extremely simple. To open the case, tap and slide it. Then insert the drive and slide the top of the case back in. Plug the cable from the kit into the pocket, the other end of the cable into your computer, and you're good to go. The intelligent disk mode puts it into sleep mode when not in use for more than 3 minutes, effectively extending the life of the mounted drive by reducing its life. The pocket is also equipped with an LED that signals the status of the device. When the drive is not in use, it glows steadily orange, while when the drive is in use, the light will blink continuously. A device with a micro USB 3.0 port and USB-C Gen.1 port provides speeds of up to 450 MB/s, and with a USB-C Gen.2 port provides speeds of up to 900 MB/s. To transfer 1 GB of data, it only takes less than two seconds. The device supports drives up to 6TB and does not need an additional power cable.
