Wired and Wireless Mode The K5 keyboard has both wired and 2.4G wireless modes. In wireless mode, the battery provides a battery life of about 60 hours with the lights on and up to 300 hours with the lights off. Pairing in 2.4G mode is by inserting the receiver and pressing FN+P to start the code pairing procedure. The keyboard automatically goes into sleep mode after 1-2 minutes of inactivity in 2.4G mode and can be woken up by pressing any key. In wired mode, the keyboard automatically switches to wired mode when the cable is connected to the computer.
