The DAB+ tuner receives the extensive range of digital radio programmes in fantastic quality - and not only in Germany, because digital broadcasting is available in almost all European countries. And if there is no sufficiently strong DAB broadcast signal available, the tuner automatically switches temporarily to the appropriate FM frequency. "Seamless Blending", an intelligent data buffer, ensures seamless blending without disturbing level and time offsets.
With the Amazon Alexa app, you can listen to music, check the current traffic situation, create shopping lists, get the latest news and much more. The more you use Alexa, the better the system adapts to your voice and personal preferences. To use Amazon Alexa via the KDC BT560DAB, all you have to do is install the app on your smartphone and connect to Bluetooth.
The Bluetooth module allows safe and comfortable phone calls while driving. The voice quality is significantly improved by the included external microphone and sophisticated sound processing with suppression of echo and background noise. A special highlight is the possibility to pair two phones at the same time and operate them in parallel. For wireless music streaming via A2DP, the AVRCP 1.6 profile is used with extended control and search functions including integration of existing information on title, artist, album or genre.
The lighting color of the LC display and the control buttons can be individually adapted to the vehicle interior. In addition to preset colors, there are also completely freely adjustable colors to choose from via RGB. In addition, the manual dimmer allows the brightness of the display and key illumination to be adjusted depending on the ambient light. In addition to the 13-digit main display, the clear display has a 4-digit subline - especially practical when displaying additional information such as the time.
With the DSP of the KDC-BT560DAB, the sound in the car can be improved in many ways. The equalizer with 13 bands, for example, allows vehicle-specific exaggerations or dips in the frequency response to be compensated for, thus ensuring a harmonious sound. The digital time-of-flight correction makes it possible to compensate for the influence of the acoustic room imaging caused by the loudspeaker position.
The Kenwood Remote app turns compatible Android smartphones into a comprehensive remote control for all Kenwood Bluetooth car radios. The app is controlled via large touch buttons or voice control for basic commands such as pause or track skip. And even more extensive equalizer settings or the runtime correction can be made via the app on the smartphone. The Kenwood Remote App is available free of charge from the Google Playstore.
