A very useful device for every metal detector enthusiast. It allows the detection of both small metal coins and steel beams in floors or walls. The precision of indications is ensured by an electronic high-sensitivity indicator on the LCD display.
Three-tone audio discrimination: an audio signal with three different tones (high, medium, low) assigned to different types of metals. The LCD display shows: probable type of metal depth of the target discrimination and notch range (DISC and NOTCH) sensitivity level (SENS) battery charge status numerical value of discrimination (DISC) and target (TARGET). Notch mode: by setting the notch range (ignoring), the device skips metal trash and detects more valuable items. DISC: discriminates the selected target Identification with very slow sweeping (Super Slow Sweep Identification): at very slow coil movement, different metal types are discriminated. Headphone jack: 3.5mm, for connecting headphones Waterproof 10" coil: allows searching in shallow water Adjustable armrest: allows adjusting the arm length to the user’s height, ensuring comfortable operation with the device Power supply: requires two 9V alkaline batteries (not included) PINPOINT - Location of the find/target using PP technology Maclean Energy MCE992 comes with an underarm support and an adjustable probe arm length.
