- ROTARY LIMBUS (rotating ring with a degree scale for determining the azimuth on the map and a 36° scale with half degrees. Rotating dial equipped with a ring. The rotating limbus allows precise determination of the direction, thanks to which the user can easily set and track their course. The notched sides of the azimuth ring facilitate operation with gloves.
- ADDITIONAL SIGHTING DEVICES? The compass has a notch and a thin line acting as a front sight. There is a small magnifying glass under the notch that makes it easier to read the exact angle from the compass dial. The compass housing also consists of a lid, in which an elongated hole is made, through the center of which a taut, thin line runs. There is a sight inside the compass.
- FLOATING DIAL - the key element of the compass is the floating dial with a magnetic needle. The needle is clearly visible, which is especially useful when navigating after dark. The disc on which the needle is placed floats in a non-freezing liquid, which ensures its stability and smooth movement and minimizes the impact of shocks and vibrations on the needle's operation. Thanks to this, the needle quickly and accurately indicates the direction of magnetic north, which is crucial for effective navigation.
- HOUSING - massive housing made of metal. The design of the compass allows reading and navigating without opening it. In the closed position, the instruments are protected by the housing.
