Plywood is a versatile building material made from layers of wood crossed under high temperature and pressure. The process includes peeling logs and coating the layers with phenolic film on both sides.
As a sustainable forest product, plywood is prized in the construction industry, especially in concrete formwork operations. Our Riga plywood comes from certified Russian sources, offering premium quality with standard thicknesses of 18-21mm to meet specific requirements.
The dimensions are standard, covering an area of 1.25 m by 2.50 m with a variability of 13 to 15 layers. Strength and durability are ensured by the use of a WBP (Water Boiled Proof) adhesive, which is optimal for demanding conditions.
The surface is treated with a dark brown phenolic film of 120 gr/m², and a product density of 690 to 700 kg/m³. This gives Riga plywood an impressive average lifespan of between 40 and 50 uses.
Each pallet contains between 27 and 33 birch panels, ensuring a viable wholesale supply for large-scale construction projects.
