Product Description
Silicone 7070 Plus is an alkoxy neutral silicone sealant for construction expansion joints and glazing joints. After application, the silicone hardens in response to atmospheric moisture to form a durable rubber seal. Colours White, Grey, Black, Brown, Oak, Stone, Bronze, Aluminium, Basalt Grey, Anthracite Grey and transparent are produced under SNJF certification

Silicone 7070 Plus can be used in glazing application and connection joints in constructions.
Precautions for use - Recommendations
A properly sized seal can absorb
movements between building materials. The report
between the depth of the joint and its width must always be
correct. As a rule, the ratio between the depth of the joint
and its width for a maximum joint width of 10 mm is
of 1:1, with a minimum of 5 mm for width and depth. For joint widths greater than 10 mm, the depth is equal to the width divided by 3 plus 6mm. For more information, see the Joint Dimensions technical bulletin in the knowledge base on our

Restrictions
- Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, flexible plastics, neoprene and bituminous surfaces
- Discoloration can occur in dark places and through contact with chemicals
Surface preparations
Application temperature: +5°C to +40°C (applies to environment and media). All substrates must be strong, clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Clean media with Cleaner. Silicone 7070 Plus adheres perfectly without the use of a primer to most non-porous substrates. Porous substrates must be treated with Primer Universal beforehand. Always test adhesion before application. Use Finisher to smooth joints.
Paintable
Silicone 7070 Plus cannot be painted. It is recommended to cover the edges of the joint with Masking Tape to prevent the surfaces to be painted from being contaminated with silicone.
Cleaning
Uncured materials and tools can be cleaned using Zwaluw Cleaner. A cured material can only be removed mechanically. Wash your hands with Cleaning Wipes
