Charterstone offers a completely new gaming experience: it starts with simple rules and grows and changes over the course of 12 games into a worker placement game at a high level of connoisseurship.
Over 300 cards with stickers keep revealing new game elements. In the first 12 games, the players use the stickers to expand the sleepy village of Grüntal with new buildings (= fields of action) and fill the vacancies in the rule booklet.
In this non-cooperative legacy game, the decisions made by the players not only have a lasting impact on the appearance of the game board, but also on the continuation of the game's underlying story about Greenvalley, its inhabitants and its king.
