Universal Meter Tester UT18C - description
The universal meter (tester) UT18C is a versatile tool for electrical measurements, ideal for electricians and technicians who need a reliable tester for everyday work. With advanced features and a rugged build, the UT18C provides precise measurements of voltage, continuity testing, and phase and polarity detection. Versatile measurement ranges The UT18C offers an LED indicator for measuring voltage in a wide range from 12 V to 690 V, allowing for quick and accurate verification of voltage presence in electrical circuits. The tester also enables detection of phase sequence in three-phase installations as well as continuity testing using a sound signal and LED indicator. The RCD (Residual Current Device) test function and detection of positive and negative polarity make the UT18C a comprehensive tool for diagnosing electrical installations. Advanced user functions The UT18C meter is equipped with automatic range switching, making it easier to operate and increasing measurement accuracy. Additional features such as freezing the last reading, low battery indicator and over-voltage indicator provide convenience and safety in operation. The tester also has backlighting of the measurement area and an LCD screen, which facilitates reading results in low-light conditions. Rugged construction and durability The UT18C features high resistance to harsh working conditions, confirmed by an IP65 protection class, which means complete dust resistance and protection against water jets. The meter is powered by two 1.5 V (R03) batteries, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. Its ergonomic design and compact dimensions make it comfortable to use and easy to carry.
