Vision Self-Diagnostic Rapid Antigen Test Covid-19 deadline 01/24 - description

Deadline 01/24
The Vision test is a rapid antigen test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigens in human nasal swab specimens, which can be taken autonomously from individuals over 15 years of age.
Sensitivity 97.57%. Specificity 99.60%.

It is based on the dual-antibody sandwich method for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigens in human nasal swab specimens.
Nasal swab samples can be taken independently from individuals over 15 years of age. For individuals between the ages of 2 and 15 years, sample collection and testing should be done by an adult (over 18 years of age).

How to use Vision Rapid Antigen Test
Test Preparation:

Wash your hands.
Before proceeding to perform the test, read the instructions and scan the QR code for the video with instructions.
Check the expiration date on the test packaging.
Open the aluminum casing and take out the cassette. Place the cassette on a flat surface. The package contains silica gel. Silica gel is used to absorb moisture and keep the test cassette dry.
Steps to perform the test:

Wash your hands.
Remove the sterile swab from the packaging. Note: Do not touch the sample tip.
Tilt your head back slightly. Carefully insert the entire muffled tip of the swab up to about 2 -2.5 cm (1 inch) into the nostril.
Applying light pressure, rotate the cotton swab 5-7 times (about 15 seconds total) against the inside of the nostril, then remove it from the nose. Using the same swab, repeat this process for the other nostril.
Remove the sterile swab from the nostril.
Break the top of the tube cap.
Add 2 drops of sample into the well of the test cassette and start the timer. The sample/conjugate complex will migrate across the nitrocellulose membrane. If the membrane is still dry within 15 seconds of adding the 2 drops, add 1 additional drop from the tube into the sample well of the test cassette.
You can read the result on the test cassette after 15 minutes.
Dispose of all materials according to your local bio-waste disposal protocol once the test is complete.
10. Wash your hands again.
Interpretation of the results:

Positive result: Two colored lines appear on the membrane. One line appears in the control area (C) and another line appears in the test line (T).
Negative result: Only a colored line appears in the control area (C). No colored line appears in the test line area (T).
Invalid result: There is no control line (C) or only the test line (T) appears in the results area. The test was not performed correctly and the results are not valid.
