The T20X dash cam enters a "sleep" state after the car engine is turned off. Once the G-sensor detects an impact, the dash cam activates to record a 20-second video and locks it to "emergency file."
Here there are different parking modes you can select from:
1) Energy Saving Parking Mode: With the "Parking Monitor" function enabled, the T20X dash cam automatically starts recording a video for about 20 seconds when a collision/impact is detected. The internal battery supports about 20 times recording a 20-second video. This mode significantly saves energy and protects the car battery.
2) 24 Hour Parking Mode: When equipped with a wired kit, with the "Parking Monitor" function enabled, the T20X dash cam will record 20 seconds of video every time a collision is detected.
3) Time-lapse: When equipped with a wired kit, with the "Time-lapse Monitoring" function enabled, the T20X dash cam will capture photos at 1 frame per 1s, 1 frame per 2s or 1 frame per 3s, and stitch them together a video, which greatly optimizes the use of the memory card.
Note: Energy-saving parking mode does not require a wired kit to operate, while 24-hour parking mode and time-lapse monitoring require dash cam wiring.

Emergency Recording
The built-in G-sensor detects a sudden impact/collision and locks the collision footage to "emergency file", which cannot be overwritten by the loop recording function on the dash cam. In the event of an unexpected accident that is not your fault, the collision footage will present favorable evidence to prove your innocence.
The sensitivity of the G-Sensor can be adjusted from high, medium, low, depending on the driving environment. A higher G-sensor level means more files will be protected.
