The Rebel Power 12 V / 100 Ah Gel Battery has become an alternative to classic lead-acid batteries. Unlike the latter, gel models are maintenance-free. This means that they do not require electrolyte topping up. What works in their favor is the sealed casing and the electrolyte in gel form. This guarantees that it will not leak, allowing the battery to be stored in any position and making it more resistant to shocks. The internal structure of the Rebel battery combined with its weight of nearly 30 kg results in our product having greater capacity than other, lighter ones sold by competitors. Durability of gel batteries One of the greatest advantages of gel batteries is their lifespan. Among those available on the market, this type has the longest lifespan, as it can operate for even decades when properly used. Importantly, gel batteries also exhibit greater resistance to variable and extreme weather conditions. Automatic self-discharge (25°C) Gel batteries can be stored for many months without the need for charging.
