AdBlue® 10 litre canister on pallet 75 pcs truck
AdBlue® - diesel engine exhaust fluid (DEF). AdBlue® is a non-toxic, colourless and non-flammable odourless solution consisting of 32.5% highly purified urea and 67.5% demineralised water. Adblue® has been specially developed for diesel engines whose exhaust system is equipped with a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system.
It is injected into the exhaust gases in the catalytic converter of a diesel engine to reduce the emission of harmful nitrogen oxides, AdBlue® is neither a fuel nor an additive. By increasing the functional efficiency of the engine, fuel consumption is reduced by 3-4% by EURO4, 5-6% by EURO5 and 8-10% by EURO6.
AdBlue® attacks materials such as steel, copper and zinc, so it cannot be stored in galvanized steel tanks, but mainly in plastic packaging or pipes.
