AdBlue® consists of 32.5 percent urea, a synthetic nitrogen compound, and demineralized water. The urea solution according to ISO 22241 reduces the emission of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in diesel engines by up to 90 percent.

- New generation diesel vehicles (trucks and passenger cars) equipped with an SCR catalytic converter (Selective Catalytic Reduction) to comply with Euro 4, 5 and 6 emission standards.
