Orajel Dental Gel for Toothache 5.3g is a topical gel used to provide rapid relief from toothache pain. It contains 10% w/w Benzocaine, a powerful local anaesthetic that works by temporarily blocking pain signals along the nerves, effectively numbing the affected area.
Key Features:
Active Ingredient: Benzocaine 10% w/w
Other Ingredients: Macrogol, Polyethylene Glycol, Sodium Saccharin (E954), Spearmint Flavour, Sorbic Acid (E200), and Clove Oil
Usage: Suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over
Application: Apply a small amount (about the size of a green pea) directly to the affected tooth up to 4 times daily2
Warnings: Not for use in children under 12 years, or for more than 4 consecutive days
Orajel Dental Gel is particularly useful for relieving pain associated with a broken tooth or a tooth that may require a filling until you can see a dentist.
