The pulse oximeter is used for quick and non-invasive measurement of: arterial oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse (pulse).
A small and light device, intended for adults and children from 4 years of age (finger thickness at least 1 cm). The pulse oximeter test is non-invasive and shows the blood test result, heart rate and perfusion index value within seconds..
The blood oxygen saturation (saturation) is represented by the symbol SpO2 and expressed as a percentage. The normal value of saturation in healthy people is 93-99%.
Heart rate (heart rate) is indicated by the symbol PRbpm and is expressed in beats per minute. Normal heart rate range is 60-90 beats / minute. The perfusion index (PI%) as a percentage is used to assess peripheral blood flow.
