DRIVEN BY TECHNOLOGY The PowerScan PM8300 series includes various models capable of meeting all customer needs; the PM8300 is the basic wireless model; the intermediate PM8300-D model includes a display and a 3-key keypad; and the top-of-the-line PM8300-DK model features a display and a full 16-key keypad. The PM8300-DK model significantly increases the complexity of the host system interface and opens up new potential applications for the scanner, making it suitable for applications that would normally require a more expensive portable data terminal. The BC9180, used in compatibility mode, also includes two different Ethernet connections in one model: standard Ethernet and industrial Ethernet protocols such as Ethernet IP and Modbus.
